click on the first talk: : "Christ-centered healing from depression and low-self worth"
This is an excellent talk given at BYU education week in 2005. I happened upon it and urge anyone who knows anyone with depression will watch it.

EDP
YEA!!!! I finally finished my new website. I'm excited because it has a completely new set-up. It has an intro page that navigates to 3 different sites: weddings, portraits or my art gallery. My art gallery has a ton of shots of nature, landscapes, my study of clouds (thinking of doing a book someday...), temples, my trip to new york, etc.
I think it will really help to have my wedding site & my portrait site separate.
I've also updated all my portfolios and separated them out, so on my wedding site there are 5 diffreent portfolios: formal shots, fun reception shots, ceremony shots, detail shots, and "tender moments". it's a lot to look at, but i think shows a greater span of my work.
I'm also working on a separate blog for edp (elizabeth dorathy photography) and hope to have that up within the week.
I am just so happy to finally have the site up an running!

Aimee
It seems to have been proven that Dorathys cannot create girls- there are 10 grandsons on Brandon's side of the family. So, we had to borrow a daughter. Aimee is a friend who is staying with us for a while. She's 15 and a great kid. It's been fun having her around. Ben has been telling everyone about his "new sister". We don't know how long she'll be here, but we are enjoying it while she's here. I'll get pics up soon.

Liz

I've been spending most of my time catching up on work. I had 3 weddings in October, 1 in November and did a bunch of family portraits in November. I have 3 weddings in December, so I'm trying get everything done before those hit me. But I'm feeling pretty slackerish....
Here's a cool shot I got in October with a full-moon. The bride and groom were already married, so this was more of a celebration, hence the non-white dress.

I keep my portfolio pretty much updated: http://www.elizabethdorathy.com/
I've been trying to get back into art photography. I plan to have a gallery up for people to order off of. It's mostly nature stuff, some landscapes. I'll keep you posted.
That's it for me.
Brandon

Brandon recently hiked the grand canyon. (see that awesome picture Brandon snapped!) He took a week off of work, ditched me and the boys and hiked off into the sunset with a bunch of brother-in-laws & a 13 year-old girl. (someone's gotta cook and do dishes, right!) Actually, niece Emily (Sara & Heath's oldest) kicked some butt & kept toward the
front the whole time. (That's her sitting up on a cliff). They had a good time and it seems it will be a every-two-year tradition. Check back, maybe I can get Brandon to add his two-cents here...

Jon-Jon is a crazy little kiddo. His favorite past-time is picking up whatever is lying around, preferably something hard, and chucking it full-force at the head of the closest person to him. He enjoys balls, trucks, music & streaking. This picture is pre-haircut, he looks much more manly now. His older brothers adore him, as does anyone within a small radius of him. He's quite the charmer.
