Liz

I've been spending most of my time catching up on work. I had 3 weddings in October, 1 in November and did a bunch of family portraits in November. I have 3 weddings in December, so I'm trying get everything done before those hit me. But I'm feeling pretty slackerish....

Here's a cool shot I got in October with a full-moon. The bride and groom were already married, so this was more of a celebration, hence the non-white dress.

I keep my portfolio pretty much updated: http://www.elizabethdorathy.com/

I've been trying to get back into art photography. I plan to have a gallery up for people to order off of. It's mostly nature stuff, some landscapes. I'll keep you posted.

That's it for me.

Brandon

Brandon recently hiked the grand canyon. (see that awesome picture Brandon snapped!) He took a week off of work, ditched me and the boys and hiked off into the sunset with a bunch of brother-in-laws & a 13 year-old girl. (someone's gotta cook and do dishes, right!) Actually, niece Emily (Sara & Heath's oldest) kicked some butt & kept toward the front the whole time. (That's her sitting up on a cliff). They had a good time and it seems it will be a every-two-year tradition. Check back, maybe I can get Brandon to add his two-cents here...

Jonathan

Jon-Jon is a crazy little kiddo. His favorite past-time is picking up whatever is lying around, preferably something hard, and chucking it full-force at the head of the closest person to him. He enjoys balls, trucks, music & streaking. This picture is pre-haircut, he looks much more manly now. His older brothers adore him, as does anyone within a small radius of him. He's quite the charmer.

Ben

Ben just turned 7. He's been spending his time lately scouring the christmas ads for Mario games, so he can cut them out and add them to his Mario world he has created in an empty bucket. What to say about Ben? Just a hilarious, wacky kid who walks to the beat of his own drummer. He recently finished his musical theatre class. If I can figure out how to upload the video to my computer, I'll post the performance here. He is also playing flag football. He loves it! He even made a touch down a few weeks ago. He's a super-fast runner and no-one could touch him. Okay, so he ran the wrong way and made a touch-down for the other team, but hey, it was still a touchdown!
12/14/07- we finally bought a fake tree. it isn't decorated yet, but it's up. yesterday ben yells out "there's a present under the tree, mom, come look!" i walked over to the tree, and there was ben, his big body curled up as tight as possible, under the tree. silly kid...

Isaac

11/30- Isaac started reading yesterday! he's sounding out words and doing a great job.

11/28- Yesterday, Isaac found a centipede, a horned beetle, and decided to feed the ants some pretzels in case they were hungry. That about sums up Isaac, friend to all living creatures. A few weeks ago, Ben came running into the house yelling that Isaac had a black widow on his arm. Well, I calmly walked out to see what was going on, and Isaac indeed had a black widow crawling up his arm. He saw me and immediately picked it up off his arm, set it down on the wall & said "NO, Mom, don't kill it, it's nice, it's not a bad spider!" Then he cried after I quickly smashed it to smithereens. (That's a moth in the picture, don't worry.)

Isaac is taking a basketball class, and sinks every shot he shoots. Dribbling is another story...
